- For an existing First Bank Statement Savings or Performance Money Market account: This interest rate and APY may be applied to an existing Statement Savings or Performance Money Market account after a minimum new money deposit of $5,000 or more is credited to the existing account; please contact First Bank at the time of deposit to request this interest rate and APY.
- For an existing First Bank Promo Statement Savings or Promo Performance Money Market account that currently has an interest rate of 3.98% or less: 1) This interest rate and APY may be applied to an existing Promo Statement Savings or Promo Performance Money Market account after a minimum new money deposit of $10,000 or more is credited to the existing account; please contact First Bank at the time of deposit to request this interest rate and APY. 2) A new Promo Statement Savings account may be opened in-branch with funds currently on deposit with First Bank in this account; however, the minimum opening deposit must include $10,000 new money.

For CDs/IRAs (including Promo CDs/IRAs): Minimum balance to open a CD/IRA and to obtain the APY for a CD/IRA is $1,000.00. APY may change before CD is opened and funded. Maximum balance limits apply. APYs stated for CDs/IRAs assume that interest remains on deposit until maturity, and a withdrawal will reduce earnings. A penalty may be imposed for early withdrawal. For CDs/IRAs, interest begins to accrue on the business day of a deposit to fund your account, including non-cash items, such as checks.
For All Checking, Savings, and Money Market Accounts: Rates are subject to change at any time after account opening without notice. Minimum opening balance is $100.00 ($25.00 for Student Checking and Thrive Checking. $5.00 for Kids Cash Savings). Interest begins to accrue no later than the business day we receive credit for the deposit of noncash items (for example, checks). Interest will be compounded monthly and credited to the account monthly. If an account is closed before the accrued interest is credited, then that accrued interest will not be paid. Fees may reduce earnings. The daily-balance method is used to calculate the interest on your account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the balance in the account each day.
For Legacy Checking, First Premier Checking, Workplace Checking, Workplace Money Market, Statement Savings and Thrive Credit Savings: There is no minimum balance required to earn the stated APY. Interest will be paid on the balance in the account at the stated interest rate.
For First Plus Checking, Thrive Checking, Health Savings Account, and Performance Money Market Account: The account must maintain a daily balance within each range to obtain the APY for each interest rate tier. On any day the balance qualifies for a respective tier, interest will be paid on the full balance in the account at the stated interest rate that corresponds to the applicable deposit tier.
For Kids Cash Savings: The account will be paid the stated interest rate only on that portion of the balance within the specified tier.
