As part of our vision to help family-owned businesses thrive through the generations, First Bank continues to build up products and services to serve this vital segment of the economy. To further help drive this important endeavor, Ed Hart has joined First Bank as the Director of the Center for Family-Owned Businesses. A lifelong resident of Orange County, his position will be based out of this Southern California region.
Ed will work on building partnerships and driving initiatives that further support the growth and sustainability of family-owned businesses. In addition, Ed will spearhead client educational programs while serving as an ambassador for First Bank’s Center for Family-Owned Businesses.
Possessing an extensive background in leading family-owned businesses, Ed has helped hundreds of family businesses with his expertise and sound leadership in his previous role as Executive Director of the Cal State Fullerton Center for Family Business.
Prior to joining CSUF, Hart was the Director of Business Development at the USC Marshall School of Business from 2007 – 2011, assisting in the development of executive leadership programs for small, medium, and large companies – public and private.
Hart has led several fundraising projects where he helped raise several million dollars that was dedicated to the education of family business leaders, managers, and college students.
