Charles Claver is the Senior Vice President and Director of the Private Wealth Advisor team for First Bank Wealth Management. First Bank is one of the largest privately held, family-owned banks in the United States.  Based in Beverly Hills and serving the California market, Charles provides private wealth management planning and services to the bank’s most affluent families and business owners. Charles leads the Private Wealth Advisor team for First Bank, with offices in San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, Newport Beach, and Saint Louis.

Claver has 25 years of experience in the banking and financial industries. His expertise includes investment management, retirement planning, commercial/ personal lines of insurance, private banking, and estate and trust planning. Prior to First Bank, Claver was the Wealth Management Advisor with TIAA-CREF and Chief Operating Officer with Truman Van Dyke Company, which specialized in entertainment insurance. Claver also worked for over 13 years with Union Bank as a Vice President and Priority Banking Manager in Manhattan Beach, CA.

Charles serves on the boards of California Rural Legal Assistance and the Guardians of the Los Angeles Jewish Home.

Claver graduated from the University of Southern California, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts (BA) at the Dornsife College and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California. Charles is a third-generation native Californian and resides with his family in Los Angeles.
