Tribute to Those Who Served - Richard Connors

First Bank honored United States Air Force Staff Seargent Richard Connors in the Tribute to Those Who Served at the St. Louis Blues game on April 6, 2023.  Richard earned two Purple Hearts as a combat controller in Vietnam.   In some of the most dangerous missions and terrifying situations, he lead the way behind enemy lines for other American forces to follow, looking for the enemy, and calling in air strikes.  Watch this true American hero’s video that played during the game.

Tribute to Those Who Served - William Buchholz

United States Air Force Lieutenant Colonel William Buchholz flew in 199 drop missions in the Vietnam War.  He survived a plane crash into the ice in Newfoundland where he and his unit were rescued two weeks later.  When he came home from the Vietnam War, he was told he shouldn’t wear his uniform, but he did.  “I’m proud of my uniform,” he said.  And First Bank was definitely proud to feature this highly decorated veteran in the tribute video at the St. Louis Blues game on Jan. 10, 2023.

Tribute to Those Who Served - John Schweitzer

John Schweitzer was featured during First Bank's Tribute to Those Who Served at the St. Louis Blues Game on March 24, 2022. He served active duty in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1974 and was in the reserves from 1974 to 1985.

Tribute to Those Who Served - William Nelson

William Nelson was featured during First Bank's Tribute to Those Who Served at the St. Louis Blues game on January 13, 2022. He served in the U.S. Army and spent 355 days in Vietnam.
